Gemini on Ford Chassis

Hello, noting that even on level ground, due design of chassis, "front" of rv is a few inches lower than rear. Personally, I don't mind this, other than the eggs running to the one side of the pan when cooking. HAR!

That aside, is it necessary to raise the front wheels with blocks etc to achieve level front to back? I'm thinking for operational issues like slideout, water drains, etc

Thanks!

The only operational thing that a few inches lower than back would cause is the effect on an absorption fridge if you have one. These need to be level within 3 degrees side to side of the fridge and since they are almost always mounted to the side that means 3 degrees front to back. But it has a DC fridge which is where almost all RV are going these days.

Two inches lower on the front would actually be a help to me as I always have to raise the back to evel it when I back into a state park, NP. USFS site, etc. These always tend to slope down to the creek or lake in back.

Yes for fridge, slides and tank drainage. If your black tank doesn’t drain due to 3 inches you could have 3 to five gallons of turds and paper to smell going down the road.

Level the coach
