We got our Thor Tranquility at La Mesa RV San Diego last week. Took it out for its maiden trip in the San Bernardino mountains this weekend.
As is to be expected the Sprinter 2500 4wd performed great. So far we’re also very happy with the Thor build out. Still getting everything dialed and figuring out what controls what (this is our first RV).
Already have a multi day camping/climbing/riding trip planned for later this week.
Can report back with more updates if there’s interest.

Hi, congratulations! We ordered 19L arriving in May, Fremont, CA.

Did you get 19P in Tenorite Grey Metallic? Any advice, tips, and tricks?

Yes it’s the 19P. No idea what the color is called.
The kitchen drawers won’t stay closed with even a small load in them (magnets are very weak) so been trying some combinations of straps and such to keep closed on rough or curvy roads. Likewise bathroom doors have swung open on rough roads.
The BMpro system to manage the systems is very finicky. Trying to download the RV master app and pair with phone crashed the system and 3+hrs on phone with La Mesa support and Thor support couldn’t resolve. We finally found how to do hard reset on BMpro website and did it ourselves. Needless to say, not planning to do the phone pairing anytime soon.
Tech issues aside. We’re loving it.

for phone pairing turn off your use restore and let it reset..then setup an acct like your gmail acct and dowload any updates to the MH display.. on display go to "PA", then on mine i go to open the app and press EXT on the display and then ONLY 1 time quickly press I think is is NEXT or the button next to "EXT" on the display. we paired 2 devices this way and cleanly

The sliding storage trays measure a generous 46” long by 16” wide. And are rated to 250 pounds.

Just bought our Tranquility!

I was in the Rec Van showroom looking at some competitive models and our sales rep told us about the Tranquility, but had zero information on it. After some googling, I found this forum and pulled the trigger on the purchase (we've been looking for something to either build or a more affordable Revel style van) and we are picking it up later this week.

We originally wanted the 19P but they had a 19L in stock for delivery sooner, so we decided to try it out - funny thing is they had nothing to show us except for a freshly sanitized and locked one in the showroom, so all your photos helped a ton - thank you!

I will follow up with photos and some of our personal reviews once we pick it up. This is our first RV and we have two small kids so were excited to go on some adventures.

Tranquility Van

I purchased this van at the beginning of April from Rec Van. I took a 14 Day Rd. trip from Sunnyvale California to Eugene Oregon and back. I drove the van the whole time I was in Oregon as well. In the mountains and in the city.

There are some issues of things not working which has been challenging. The inverter was broken and I was informed that generator was broken as well. This was frustrating because this was discovered immediately upon arriving home from the dealership with the van. In addition, wall cleaning the van the driver seat was pushed all the way forward causing the wires to get severed. I found out that this is a recall by Mercedes. It was frustrating because I had a brand new van in my driveway That a toddler could not drive because the seat was pushed too far forward. Thank God my husband is mechanically inclined and was able to splice the wires back. I will have to take this into Mercedes to have it repaired under the recall. If anyone else purchases this fan, keep this in mind.

All of these items made my trip to Oregon quite a bit more challenging than anticipated. It was as if I was in a bougie tent. Even though I was unable to use the stove or heat or hot water, I had a fantastic time. I know there are many more adventures in my future! I will be taking another adventure this weekend to Santa Cruz California.

Thor Tranquility

Just purchased at LaMesa RV Mesa AZ. Great value if you don’t want to spend the $$$$ on Revel

Gmorlo

I’m not sure of all of the working components yet. We haven’t received the unit yet. We were able to take a peek at a unit that came in for another customer.
Here is a cropped pic. There isn’t anything abnormal about the hitch and appears standard. The area under the sofa/bed has the black box. I’m not sure what that is for. It has electrical connections that I can see in the pic.

Photos of the 19L

Just received our Tranquility today. Got home and messed around with it and goofed up the board under the drivers seat (a previous person commented on this), but we didn’t sever the wires so we’re taking the seat off to fix the board ourselves as it was just installed in a bad area for the swivel function. Haven’t been past the dealership to home so far so I’ll update as time passes.
