Mystery exterior bracket

We have a 2010 Fourwinds Chateau Citation 29BG and on the passenger exterior wall near the shower area there is a bracket. It appears that another bracket will slide into it as if it was for some kind of frame to perhaps hold an exterior TV. Below this area is the second cable and 110 power outlet. Someone mentioned it might be for a BBQ bracket but its too high up on the exterior wall and I think it might have to do with a TV mount.

Any suggestions?
thanks

I assume it’s an after-market mod by previous owner?
You’ve already guessed the obvious purpose for it.

Typically people will put a table in that area, there are many styles of mounts used.
But you say it is too high for a BBQ? Picture is not helping.

That style is similar to our dinette mount inside.
