New 2018 Gemini 23TR owner

I recently bought a practically new Gemini from an elderly couple, unfortunately he was not able to show me anything. Read the manual but it does me no good, can someone provide me some insight on questions I have?

We own a 2019 Compass 23TR - so not exactly the same but close. I would try to answer your questions if I can. There's also a Compass/Gemini thread - https://www.thorforums.com/forums/f4...pass-9558.html Another good resource.

Welcome to the forum. Right now YouTube may be your best friend to see how the various systems work(Slide outs/Potable Water Storage/Sewer dumping). I would start in your driveway operating everything until you feel comfortable. You can start by hooking up your motor home to your 120 outlet(house outlet) with a 30 to 120 adapter(called a dog bone) for basic power without having to use the generator. You should have either 1 or 2 house batteries that are usually stored under the entry step. They are usually water lead acid batteries that are similar to your car battery. They may need water or be replaced(usually marine deep cycle batteries). If you have any friends that have a motor home, give them a call for assistance learning how things work. Check the tires for wear and air pressure. The propane tank has an on/off valve at the tank. There is usually a gauge their to tell you how much propane in in the tank.

Good luck
Paul

Thor has several YT clips specifically on the Compass/Gemini that will take you from the absolute basics to a point you can probably go camping somewhere.

The suggestion to camp in your driveway is a good one. Try it!

Good Luck!
