SequenceA Hot Water at rear of van

Is there a mod to get hot water from the hose in the rear of the van?

Welcome to the forum.

Use the forum’s search feature to see if anyone posted a mod. I don’t recall reading any..

I searched a few different key words but did not come across any options. We have the wet bath in middle and would like to add an outdoor shower in the rear of the van.

You would need to run a Hot water line from the water heater ( "T" off an existing hot water feed line ) to a blending type Valve, like in your house . Look up Marine type outside shower valves . Check this sight ,it has some interesting options .

I like that tee/mixer idea...I have a 20L so layout may not be exactly the same.

But there is a race-way in the shower pan (part that faces front of rig), that you can run pex through (assuming the 20A has the truma on the drivers side).

With the suggested tee/mixer that seems like it would be a fairly simple solution.

The connection on the back of the hose disconnect is simply a screw on fitting (it would have to be plugged).

I saw another mod, quite involved, that used the useless sewer hose storage (the one cut into the actual van body, not the one under the rig). The guy put a hot/cold faucet in the cavity, ran hot/cold off the Truma. Just have to find a new place for the sewer hose. I borrowed half his solution, using a Voltara sewer hose storage pipe strapped under the bike rack...can actually carry a real sewer hose with both ends and a 90.
