Tellaro 20L spare tire options

I'm looking for advice on whether to purchase a spare tire or sign up for roadside assistance. Obviously, there are pros and cons to both. Thoughts???

I am also looking at options. Simplest solution I saw today was a spare tire carrier that installs into the trailer hitch. It would prevent you from towing however. You may have a year of roadside assistance from your selling dealer as mine came with that.

Thanks but a major challenge to solve is where to store the spare tire on my class B Tellaro?

Thanks RobertJ1961, i already have a Stow-A-Way enclosed storage unit attached to my hinge. As you know, the Tellaro doesn't have a lot of extra storage compartments. I use this for my blackstone grill and other accessories. A spare tire (if it fit) would take up half of the room. I have the Thule bike rack but maximum weight limit is 70lbs which is about what the spare tire weighs...and we couldn't take our bikes.

No problem and understood. I have the same setup as you and realize the limited options. I saw where one guy actually was able to secure it to the roof rack but had to move some things around to keep it from blocking the solar panels. The only other one I saw a video of was mounting it to the left of the bike rack but the bike rack had to be elevated to work. Good Luck!

I did 8/10ths of both.... meaning I have roadside assistance ( actually two plans) and a spare tire but no wheel. If I have an issue Roadside will mount my tire on one of the existing wheels. I have Class A and store my tire (75 lbs no wheel) under the bed.

If I were you...

I would do some research on your tire and size and it's normal availability. It may be readily available? My reason for buying the tire is Roadside will only replace not repair a tire and they could easily charge me $700 - $800 for tire that should be $400 - $500. If you need to mount, you will likely need the wheel too so that is why I would check availability first? It may be widely available or not cost as much. If roadside would only charge me $300 - $400 for a new tire, I may not have bought my spare.

Good luck
