Tranquility Spare Tire Carrier

Any recommendations for a spare tire carrier? I'm familiar with Owl brand but would like to compare it to others. (not crazy about drilling a hole through my new van door to mount it). Thanks

I have the Owl on my 19L. It comes with a template and watching the installation video makes it a breeze to install. The quality is top notch, and it should be for the price. The way I justified it was, I felt it should have been standard equipment on the van. It is advertised as a overland rig. Number two, if I decide to sell, it will add to the value of the van. The hinge mount is a plus , and if you decide to purchase from another manufacturer , I wouldn't buy one that wasn't hinge mounted.

I second the Owl tire carrier. It is an excellent product and relatively easy to install. I was also nervous about drilling a hole but it really is a non-issue once you have done it.

Plus it looks cool. I went ahead and bought a fifth Toyo/Method combo to mount. Owl has some really cool products. Great customer support. They have shops scattered around if needed for install.
