Tellaro Vinyl Floor.

Our brand new 2022 Tellaro 20L has large bubbles in the vinyl floor where it has delaminated from the substrate. My wife wants Thor to fix this, since it is clearly a Warranty issue. After seeing how thin the vinyl is, I think I prefer to find a more permanent solution. The vinyl on the floor is about the thickness of a single sheet of paper.
Has anyone else encountered this issue?

Yep. Our 2020 24F has the same issue... showed up after the first drastic temperature change shortly after we bought it new.

It was a warranty issue. The answer we got from Thor & the dealer was that it isn't glued in the middle because it would crack if not allowed to flex under changing climate conditions in an RV.

I figured I wasn't going to get anywhere, so I let it go. Fortunately ours isn't terribly noticeable... especially when it's cooler - probably because it expands/contracts with temperature changes.

Good luck! Keep us posted...

A good attitude to cultivate is:
It's a kit. It's the least expensive rv on the market, and then I asked for a discount.
They lended me some flooring until I could find the flooring of the quality I want.
Same with:
Radio
Microwave
Outlets
Seating.
Cabinetry.

This will keep you far less disgruntled.
Many of us now have
Wood plank
Ceramic Tile
High end vinyl

Warranty repair will leave you low end, but serviceable, vinyl.(and a not great dealer based experience.)

Tellaro Flooring

I'd like to learn more about flooring that owners have installed. I think it has a better chance of success than trying to get satisfaction from "warranty support."

Realize that the vinyl floor is the FIRST thing put down in an RV build - even vans. So the vinyl covers the entire floor - even UNDER cabinets, walls and other built-in fixtures.

I certainly don't want to discourage you from replacing it by any means... but the vinyl flooring must be carefully cut around walls, doorways and cabinets. You can't simply get under an edge and lift it up like you would do in a house.

That said, MANY people have replaced it with beautiful results. If mine was an older rig I would definitely consider replacing it... and DEFINITELY glue the whole floor down!
