THOR = This Has On-going Repairs

So cabinet door broke from its hinges due to short stripped screws into cheap particle board. I knew that owner repairs was part of the bargain with buying an RV but this happened prior to our first trip while we prepped. Shoooot

So... Are you going to have Tee-Shirts made?
Sorry to see that these kinds of problems are still part of the Thor experience.
I hope you can get everything back up and running soon!
Try longer screws, and a bit of epoxy...)

I am sure that if you leave it parked and never move it then the on-going repairs would be minimized just like your house.

Did you buy some gorilla glue, dip your new better/longer/fatter/stainless steel screws in it, then spray water in the holes you're using for the new screws and swap out all them on all of the cabinets?
(I'd also glue the hinge to the frame and door)

And while doing that we would also run a bead of it on every seam of every drawer, top and bottom.

I don't think either job would take more than an hour. At $100 an hour the service depart ment charges, you just saved/made $200, learned how to remove a drawer, and erased a hundred or so potential screw and drawer problems.

Your lower priced rv is a kit.
You build it just like you did your kitchen at home, your wardrobe for work, your education.(all were basic when you started out.).

Ford = Fix Or Repair Daily...
Ford = Found Along Road Dead...
Mopar = More often Parked Along Road...
Drive a Chevy so you can Dodge a Ford...
And the list goes on, though I don't want to come up with something for Winnebago
