Is The Thor Delano A Class B Or C

I have purchase the Delano built on a Mercedes Sprinter. She is larger than a class B but I I believe smaller than a class c. Perhaps it is considered a class B+
Thank you for your help in advance

If it fits you: I'd call it a "Class Me"!
Who really cares what it's called?
For the record: mine is on a Sprinter, and I just call it FUN!

Class B motorhomes are built inside the Mercedes/Transit van body. The full exterior body is made by Mercedes/Ford, not the RV company. Class C motorhomes are built on a cutaway chassis with the RV manufacturer making the house body.

"B+" is not a designation that really officially exists. It's used by some manufacturers to try to distinguish big boxy Class C motorhomes with large cab-over bunks from smaller, narrower, sleeker Class C motorhomes, usually without the large cab-over bunk. They're still built on a cutaway chassis though, so are really just small Class C motorhomes.

Thanks for that B+ explanation.
But my Class C doesn't have the overhead bunk.
(Deleted in favor of an entertainment center, and more cabinetry.)
Does that make it a B+?

What atreis stated.

B+ is a marketing designation that is officially considered a Class C.

I think the Sprinters are currently very well-covered in here...

Cool. Just an idea. There are many unique and quirky things about Sprinter based RV's.

Forest River Forums has a MB Sprinter sub forum, for example :

Yup! Quirky is a good description. I didn't learn that shorepower does not maintain the chassis battery until it was almost killed by my neglect...

My Compass is technically a class C, but I am OK calling it a class B+ since it gets even better mileage better than our old F350 Roadtrek. Low to mid teens on the Mercedes works for me all day long, and the aerodynamic front end (no cab over bunk) has much to do with it I'm sure.

You're happy calling it a B+: but's it's earning A+ grades.

Mine's a (or, really, will be a) double "C"... Class C on a "C"hevy chassis.

I agree with Hooligan2 on the definition/difference between a Class C and B van. The B van/motor home would not have the box built and installed on the chassis. Everything would have been installed into the existing van body.
