Thor sequence rear doors screen

We have been wanting to be able to open the rear doors (bathroom area) of our thor sequence for ventilation and a better feeling of openness. The cost of screen that are made for the unit is costly to say the least. So... we purchased 2 sets of those magnetic screens you see in those annoying catalogs that come in the mail about 3 times a week. We fabricated the two sets by sewing the seams of the ends together and put the magnets on the outside edges and in the middle. The edges magnet to the metal sides of the motor home and the center magnets allow for easy entry/exit. We used a expandable curtain rod to hang from the seam we sewed into the top of the screen. It works great. We have purchased a small outdoor shower tent and a shower head extension to set behind the motor home and take showers without messing up the interior or having to use public bathhouses. The shower head now passes through the screen to the outside shower tent. Hope this helps some.

Looks like a good job. When we had our Winnebago ERA Class B the rear screens were part of the deal when we purchased it. That was back in 2015(2016 Winnebago ERA). When we traded it in 2018, the screens went with it.

Joolca makes a very nice complete shower setup. If we didn't have our self contained bath in our motorhome, I would invest in that type setup before using public showers... just me.
