Here I tour the 2022 Thor Rize. I did notice that Thor seems to move the generator to a much better location than before.

Yes, interesting location for generator ahead of rear axle. That’s the first ProMaster I have seen with an Onan generator located anywhere other than behind rear axle where factory spare tire is normally located.

It’s difficult to see on video, but ground clearance under generator must be worse than when it is located at very rear of van, where the PM has greater height under the floor. A different review stated generator hangs below rear-axle elevation which would make it under +/- 6 inches.

Bed design may be comfortable for one person, but I’m not sure how comfortable it would be for two adults.
