Of course you can drive most any 2WD car on that same beach. Not much of a challenge.

It may be easy if you are experienced however they will not even allow a 2WD on the beach, must be 4WD. Even at that, I did see a few trucks stuck in the sand as someplace got pretty tricky. My biggest concern was that I weigh somewhere around 9500lbs ... would not be easy to get unstuck.

I drive my Sanctuary on the Beach here in St Augustine quite a bit , purchased a Beach pass sticker & most of it is 4x4 only & you would be surprised at how many 2 WD go right past the 4x4 only sign & are stuck in a matter on a few min., I would say its a 50/50 chance a 2WD will go very far from an entrance & will have no issues . We normally drive far enough that no one is around .

I'm going to have to check out that CampGround .

I found it a little tricky getting it into 4x4 as I do not do it very often and learned pretty quickly that traction control is not your friend in sand. Thanks for sharing the pic, what a way to have a day at the beach!
