Water filter location Tranquility 19L

Anyone with a Tranquility 19L know where the location of the water filter is? Went to my personalized owners page and doesn't answer the question. Thanks RS

I have a Sanctuary 19L which I think is the same 'ish and it is behind a panel on the drivers side rear. It is literally attached closely to the pump so just run the water and listen for the pump and you will locate it.

Found the filter location exactly where you said it would be. Opened up the housing and to my surprise, well not really, there was no filter installed. I honestly believe there is absolutely zero oversight before these vans are released for sale. Thanks for the info. RS

They are told to just "install it in 10 seconds or less...don't worry if it works, the end user can deal with that...he'll never know until it's too late...HA HA HA".

My water pump went out a few weeks ago. Thinking maybe something could have gotten sucked up in it. Who knows. A filter could possibly avoided that problem..

The filter is generally on the discharge side of a pump. There should be a suction strainer for your pump that generally catches the leftover crap in the the FW tank from construction. It has a stainless strainer in a clear plastic bowl.

I checked it out, set up as you indicated. Guess the pump just failed. Probably had 3 tanks ran through it

If yours is like mine , its a bellows type pump & since it did work for a couple of tanks of water , I would look for obstructions in the suction line or strainer .They can fail as with anything else , but normally have a good service life & they don't need a head of water to prime them , meaning they don't need to be below the water line to pull a suction to prime . Crack, break or loose fitting in a suction line pulling in air , can keep them from priming . A bad or hole in the Diaphragm of the Pump can also keep them from priming .
