Water sipons

2017 Gemini, water from fresh water tank siphons out when hooked up to city water. Not all the time. Does anyone have an idea to solve problem:

There's a check valve in the line for the tank, and it's probably sticking open...

First, welcome to the forum.

Did you just purchase this rig and if so was it winterized?

On some rigs the check valve is at the city water inlet. The screen at the inlet will cause this to happen if it is installed backwards. On many rigs the screen must be in one position for normal use and then it must be reversed if you are sanitizing or winterizing the rig.

I had the issue last week during de-winterizing because I forgot to reverse the screen after winterizing back in the winter.

I do not immediately recall which way the cone must go for which function.
