2017 Thor Windsport 35c generator exhaust pipe hanger.

Hi All, I don't normally post but, I have a 2017 Thor Windsport 35c that has a gas Onan. The other day I was at a dump site and noticed that the exhaust pipe was hanging loose.
Anyone have an idea how to correct this problem.?

Have you crawled under and had a look? Typically there is a exhaust hanger like the one I had to fix once.

My generator's exhaust pipe is about 12 ft long (It looped around the back of the propane tank). The generator end of the pipe is welded to the flame arrestor and the exit end is hung from a standard tail pipe hanger.

I see there is a spot on the frame where it would attach, but I don't see on the pipe an attachment spot

Exhaust on our Hurricane was hanging down couple months ago, strap holding on pulled lose from under rig. Shop replaced with better setup!

i have same issue. Is the exhaust Pipe hanger part of the RV or is it part of the ONAN 5K system. I think the exhaust system ends at the muffler, and THOR manufactures the exhaust tube and Hanger. It looks like every RV i look under has a different setup.

The exhaust pipe hanger is a Cummins Onan part, there are several different ones. Not sure about the pipe itself if it is a Onan part.

got it! Thanks for the link. I think the issue was the hanger was not aligned with the exhaust tube, i was about 2 inches off of where it was supposed to be. this would pre load the hanger rubber and probably caused the rip. Then when the hanger was disconnected. the first bump in road caused the exhaust system to jump the spring detents. I have it all disassembled waiting on a part. I noticed the exhaust bolts were loose, I will add a lock washer to ensure proper torque is mantained.

yes, i just replaced mine. I also, secured the springs holding the exhaust system on the RV, somehow, the hanger broke and the exhaust springs jumped there housing. I have it all secured again with a new ONAN Generator Exhaust bracket. Pictures added.
