BIM Clicking

2022 Gemini 23te. The BIM in the undercarriage has a loud click every 123 seconds, just like clockwork. Does not matter if it’s 30amp plug, battery or 110. Clicks like it’s on a timer. Can keep you awake at night. Any suggestions?

Need a lot more info.
First find ,the model number off the Bim.
Then google it for the manual and find the threshold voltages
Then buy a ten dollar volt from harbor freight and read the voltages on both the coach and chassis batteries.

Then let us know the results.

My bim 160 had a similar click and was using the chassis battery when coach dropped.
Thor sent a new one free. My tech installed and all good.
Take before and after photos

What does that mean? 30 amp Shore Power (SP) IS 120 VAC.

The BIM, if properly wired (not always the case) allows the converter to charge both the house and chassis batteries from the converter; and the alternator to charge both the chassis and house batteries. It does this by connecting the two battery banks together when charging is occurring and disconnecting them when charging is not needed or not occurring.

110 is a regular power plug. Why does it do it exactly every 123 seconds? It’s pretty loud too.

That would be a 15 amp plug, as I said your 30amp plug is also 120 VAC.

The BIM manual is attached. I would verify it is actually the item clicking and that it is wired correctly. The 123 second may be due to the battery voltage dropping when it is not being charged. Without more specific info regarding voltage measurements it's all a guess. Of course the BIM may also have gone bad.
