Abandoned Old used up RV left by the side of the rd is becoming more common. In Oregon if it is abandoned on your property let's say your rural driveway you are responsible for it. Now that's messed up

If you own it (VIN numbers are easy for police to trace) it should still be your responsibility.

You would think so but most of these are sold many times ID tags are long gone. The current scam someone buys it for a few thousand, rents it out to druggies for awhile then give it to some homeless to use and abuse then dump it on the side of the street and if it happens to be on your property you get the bill to haul it off.

A RV never needs to be left on the side of the road. Junkyards will accept it for the scrap metal - particularly the aluminum and copper. This is the kind of crap that gives RV'ers a bad name and it manifests a disdain of the culture.

Not in many areas

In our area you have to pay to have them take an old RV or Mobil Home

If you salvage it you have to be in a commercial area zoned for recycling

Just loan the RV to your local Monster Truck owner...
