Ha it’s like a little kid waiting to open up Christmas gifts. We picked up a new camp chef bbq as a new addition this year.

Ripped out all of the snow-flaking liner from cab curtains. Got some covers for our peeling pleather captain's chairs installed today. Still looking for covers for dinette. Scheduled for DMV inspection in a couple of weeks, and going to be lazy and have them dewinterize for us and top off propane.
Then -
It's -
ON!

When you get done: it'll be just like a brand-new rig.

That’s crazy to see the seats peal like that. Covers look good though.

Only new thing for the coach was a new shower head. When I checked the water system after the freak freeze of February the shower head had a small leak on it's side. Other than that just waiting for doctors and veterinarian appointments to play out before our first trip of 2021.

Water system sanitized and filled, fridge on, all systems checked and working. Bedding washed and bed made. Need food and clothes for next weekends trip to a state park. Can't wait to get out.

That’s next on my list to sanitize that tank and clean the lines out. Got to wait a few more days to make it past the freeze danger.

Nice Omni!

I'm headed to pick up a small aluminum tilt trailer to haul the Razor to Kanab next month, and have been wondering how much drop I'll need on the hitch.

What works for you?

I'm guessing it's not unusual (to quote the illustrious Tom Jones) for pleather to start to peel and shed the older it gets, and especially so if it's been kept outside in the elements. Our 5 year old Vegas is showing signs of leather peel, as we did not have it indoors, and the Tennessee Sun can get brutal. Thankfully, our garage is just about complete, and the coach is safely nestled inside.

Euro shower valve installed. This will simplify temperature regulation. The last pic is leaving for our last trip (to YNP) last year. Six shorter trips already scheduled starting next month.

In the last two weeks have, after nearly a year of ignoring the Four Winds, have cleaned inside and out, checked out the the solar panels and inverter, adjusted the water pump so it doesn't run all the time, replaced the shower head that froze and checked all other mechanicals. Now the wife and I just arrived in Key West, from Virginia, about four hours ago. So life is starting to get back to normal.sorty for the poor typing...too many Bahama Mamas already.
I hope everyone is doing well.

You are one lucky ! We fared horribly in the 10 day freeze out down here in New Braunfels!!! Busted water filter, busted water heater that replacement is not available ANYWHERE, busted kitchen faucet (so far, this is the damage that’s been identified). We have a trip scheduled next weekend that we will keep, possibly without some necessities! Got to get out of here, but our “tent” will certainly be a fancy 2020 Thor Magnitude!!!

What works for you?
What size wheels and tires does the trailer have?
I've got 15" wheels, and only need about 2 or 3 inches of drop.

I feel for all of you who have to deal with the cold, cold weather, I live in Southern California and I never have to do the winter stuff when in storage, I actually use my coach during the fall, winter and spring months and put it in storage during the summer months, some day I might hit the road and do some traveling but my trips to the local desert are what I bought my coach for, I have met a lot of snow birds over the years, I hear all the stories of hitting the road and having to stay in motels because its still too cold to have water in any of the systems, I guess I am spoiled, I do take notes just incase.
