Exterior Paint Chalking

The paint on my My 2021 Windsport is becoming chalky. I’ve waxed it 2x but some areas are flat with no shine. Any ideas?

This has been EXTENSIVELY discussed here. Do a search for oxidized finish and similar. It is a very common issue, almost universal for units stored outside, although there are steps you can take. Good luck.

I wash my coach before and after every trip. I use what ever wash/wax concentrate is on sale. I use a foam cannon I purchased on Amazon and a long handled wash brush. My coach still shines like the day I drove off the CW lot in 2018.

My coach is completely painted and I had Perma Plate put on it to help stay looking brand new. I wash it when I leave on a trip and when I return from a trip. I also wax it. I did the same thing on 2018 Thor Siesta and it stayed looking brand new when I traded it in for the 2022 Thor Miramar 37.1.

Thanks to all who responded… the section above the windshield is the most faded. This is my 5th RV and none of the others faded like the Thor. Looks like I’ll be increasing my ladder time.
