Hurricane compartment door checks

I hate my compartment doors swinging back and forth while I'm trying to load or unload them. Has anyone found a way to install some sort of door check to hold them from swinging?
Thanks!

How about a broom or a hiking stick? It doesn't take much.

Looking for something a little more permanent to hold them at 90 degrees.

I cut 1” pieces of rubber fuel line, slit them, then glued them on the latch handles with procell stuff. Doesn’t keep them open but it does soften them banging on the sides when wind does catch them. Otherwise you could install the door catches by each door like the door on my 5th wheel had.
