That is what I run. The Weber 1200 and the conversation kit which deletes the grills regulator for a quick connect line. Has worked great for the year I have been using it.

I recently bought a 22” portable Blackstone griddle with a stand to replace my old Coleman Tailgater gas grill in the motorhome. I never really liked the Coleman grill. I loved the Blackstone so much that I bought a 28” Blackstone Pro Series for my home and then bought my son a 36” Blackstone Pro Series for a housewarming gift when he moved into his new home. Still have a Weber Smokey Joe in the motorhome if I feel like grilling over charcoal.

I converted a Weber Q2200 to use the quick connect as well. The 2200 has the ability to switch out the cast iron grill on a side to a griddle. I ended up buying two griddle halves. I leave one of each in the cooking device, and also have one of each as a spare sitting in the cardboard boxes the griddles came on top of the outdoor fridge—not taking any room, but being very handily in reach of where I grill.

If a need both sides grills, I can do that. If I am making a bunch of pancakes or bacon, veggies, or whatever for folks, I can switch to dual griddles. But mostly, one of each does us just fine.

I use an Olympic portable but carry along a small tank as we are all electric

It would work well either way

Blackstone griddle grills seem to be taking over the market

Use a cheepie BBQ grill from Bi-Mart.(19.95) Our factory "T" quick disconnect is before the coach regulator, so just hooked the extension hose into the fitting where the little green tank would hook up to..and use the BBQ regulator..
NOTE!
I went to a propane supplier (Suburban) and bought a high/tank pressure rated hose instead of depending on any hose or fittings made in China..

We use a 22" Blackstone run off the rig. We have a fitting that allows us to by pass the regulator at the griddle. We use a 12 foot hose so we have some flexibility on where we use the griddle. The griddle and folding legs with all the cooking tools and a portable propane fire pit fit in the same right rearmost compartment.

A little late but this is the propane grill that came with all the Thor MHs with outdoor kitchens in 2016.

IMHO that Aussie is a POS. Mine kept flaming out and I could never get a consistent cook. That’s the one I got rid of and went with the Weber Q2200.

Love mine. I even bought a 20 lb DOT bottle and hose so I could use it on the back patio. Once a month, I disassemble it and put it in the dish washer. Comes out clean and takes a couple minutes to put it back together. Like the coaches - some have good luck and some can't wait to replace them.

Weber probably has the best and models to choose from

I use charcoal bbq grill and blackstone griddle. Been thinking about only using the blackstone for everything

Jerry
Just ordered the 22” Blackstone set-up from Walmart
Yes, I know, I should have purchased when you did
Instead I’m paying $175
Still a great bargain as it’s much better than piecing all the components separately.

(I told DW that the extra $80 I paid vs you was saved by boondocking a couple of extra nights...haha).

When you get around to converting it: please don't forget to take pictures of how the project goes.

I wonder why the Weber folks tell you to never use 2 griddle halves at one time?

I haven’t heard that but the griddles run a lot hotter than the grates. It mike have to do with air circulation.
