Yes, I know, I should have purchased when you did
Instead I’m paying $175
Still a great bargain as it’s much better than piecing all the components separately.

(I told DW that the extra $80 I paid vs you was saved by boondocking a couple of extra nights...haha).
At $175 its still a good deal. Great griddle

I converted the Weber 1200 to direct connect [quick connect] to our Chateau 24BL and added 2 of the griddles sold by webber [accessory] (for breakfast etc.). If you use two of their griddles (rather than 1 and 1 grate) you must grind off the spacers on one of griddles or one will be slanted and not do eggs (for example) very well.
Attached pics of how well it works with the griddles and then you still can use the grates to use for steaks, burgers, etc.

17” Blackstone just $73 at CampingWorld

Ok
Change of plans...
> I picked up the 22” Blackstone with stand from Walmart for $175. But once I got it home I realized that it was just a monster. Way too heavy and too big to store with the stand in my Vegas
> then I saw Camping World selling the 17” for $73. The small one weighs just 20# and will fit in several of my exterior storage compartments
> so, I returned the 22” and went with the 17”

It’s plenty large for DW and me.
I seasoned it, and used this morning for breakfast

I’m now a happy Blackstone owner.

Enjoy, sure like mine, both the large one and small
Work for darn near anything

after conversion

...been using the grill after converting and buying 2 griddles to go with the 2 grates (that come with the grill).
As long as you grind off the two spacer tabs on one of the griddles the two griddles will sit perfectly flat.

I see you are still using the little green propane tanks. We used them on our 17” Blackstone for a few trips and I converted it to run on the MH’s big tank. Sadly my coach did not come with a quick disconnect so I added one at the tanks regulator. Just took a tee fitting on the low pressure side and a quick connect fitting. I bought a 12 ft hose and a nifty little inlet fitting for the grill. It’s a great update for about $30. I also added the newly available lid to the grill and had my DW modify the carry bag so it would fit with the lid. It’s a great grill and even better now. [ATTACH]25877

So I guess maybe I should try to sell or maybe give the one I have to my son and get a weber..... so if do get a weber I can just order a conversion kit? Just trying to keep up with all the responses. Looks like we are gonna have to take that 12 hr trip to Indiana to get the rig fix anyway...😕

Does it come with just a griddle or does it have grates also?

Griddle only. That is why the Blackstone is a backup to my Weber Q 2200.

Yes
I just ordered the Blackstone attachment off Amazon so I can use on-board propane
Now I need the proper 1/4” quick connect hose fittings
Trying to use a 3/8” hose from years gone by instead of purchasing new

The twelve foot-long propane hoses that have the quick disconnect ends aren't all that expensive...

I too am looking at the Blackstone 17". I just have to buy the hose to attach to my quick connect on my coach. I am looking at also buying the table for the blackstone.

Well i really love grate over griddle so I may look into getting the one that was sent earlier that is made to connect straight to the rig. Especially since its already set up to connect instead of converting. Thanks everyone for your help, recommendations and advice you guys are awesome!

My blackstone 17 inch griddle is on the way. Camping World had them on sale ($73.00). I also bought the blackstone table to go with it. I also got a 12 foot propane hose that quick connects to my motor home's propane system and the blackstone griddle.

I have a vintage Weber Go Anywhere gas grill and its the best portable out there(not the new ones on the market now) I hook up a 5 pound tank and am good to go for a month of cooking. My fellow Rv`er has a Nexgrill Propane that hooks up to the outside outlet and it works very well, I think its a Costco product.
