Rear view camera warning
Hello all,
I'm new to the forum and looking for a little help. This is my first post.
I've had my 2014 Thor Siesta 24ST for about 2 years and I've had to fix a lot of things. One thing that I have never been able to figure out is how to remove the warning message on top of the video feed from the rear view camera. The chassis is a sprinter 3500 and the radio is a pioneer. I have the manual for the radio and it talks about the rear view camera but it doesn't say how to clear the warning message. I tow a Honda Element behind the rig and I have the camera pointed down at the toad. The top 20% of the screen is blocked by this warning message. Of course this is right where I need to see any traffic approaching from the rear when I'm trying to change lanes.i've searched the web and forums and tried to contact pioneer for the last 2 years but I have had no luck. I'm about ready to rip a perfectly good radio out and replace it because of this one small issue bugs me so much.
Please anyone with knowledge of how to remove this warning please let me know. It's driving me crazy!
P.S. the warning message says objects may appear reversed or something like that.
