Internet Access

Going to spend two months in the RV this summer. Have a Winegard 2.0 installed but have never used the 4g telco option, which has its own car plan.

So, am looking for options.
  • We use Google Fi phones and have used them as hotspots before but the data rates shoot up to $150 a month.
  • Looked at the TMobile ISP option but not sure if it would work outside of our home address

Advice?

Need a telco that will sell/setup a line with it's own sim card you can plug into the Winegard
or
get a hotspot device, hook you Winegard to that, use Winegard as router for rest of rig.

we pay 20 bucks a month for 15 gig of Verizon. Don't stream anymore cause it eats up all the bandwidth.

I WIFI bridged a router to my Winegard so I could have router with some network ports for security cams and temp sensors.

Another cool thing, most camp grounds we go to have free WIFI, since Winegard is on roof, has greater range and we get speed enough to stream prime.
