In preparation for retirement we are taking a 2 week trip to sort out items with the Accolade. This two week trip was scheduled for Pigeon Forge, TN then a few days in Tybee Island, GA and then an FMCA Chapter Rally at North Myrtle Beach (Longs, SC). With the remnants of the hurricane coming through we are modifying the trip to remove Tybee and adjusting the days in other locations.
To begin the trip we loaded the Accolade with 2 weeks worth of food and clothing. Once the trip began we ran the coach over the CAT Scales to get our weight. We went across the scale with all provisions, 2 adults, 1 dog, 3 cats, 3/4 tank of fresh water, empty waste tanks, 3/4 LPG, full fuel, and full DEF. We also had 2 bundles of firewood and in the Jeep was a 32 bottle case of water. I also have both, the Weber Q 2200 and the 27 inch Blackstone with stands for both.
Coach info
GAWR Front 10,000 lbs
GAWR Rear 19,000 lbs
GVWR 29,000 lbs
GCWR 41,000 lbs
Cat Scale Weights were
Steer Axle 8580
Drive Axle 18320
Trailer Axle (TOAD) 5420
Total 32320
When we went across the scales the DW was sitting at the dinette which would shift weight from front to rear depending on where she was sitting but it wouldn't be much since the dinette is just forward of the rear axle.
No worries about being overloaded here with about 1000 lbs still available.
