Vegas Owners Unite

Lora and I camped in Red Lodge Montana with our hammock off a creek for $10. Can't belive how many people asked us about our Vegas.

We then drove to one of the best bakeries in the state.
Yes you guessed in Red Lodge.
We parked on the street and an old guy chased us into the bakery. He said we are retiring soon and have questions.
He said a friend bought a 30 ft something and is looking for the Vegas. We spoke for a while and he said he and his friends love the look.

This happens to us at most campsites around the country.

Vegas owners any good recent stories?

GO VEGAS!

We used to get a lot of people asking about it when our Axis was new.

Now, not so much. They are 7 years old now with a lot of them on the road.

We get admiring stares and comments every time we drive through a campground.

So I'm at the gas station last week filling up for the wifes solo trip.
Some californian climbs out of a jeep and started washing the cleanest windshield I have ever seen on a jeep. I'm thinking
Man, that guy jumps when she says to.

He comes over and asks
Is that 4wheel drive?

It's my dear old friend and past mentor Chris from 400 miles away.

I get asked/stopped about every 3rd fill up.
Usually due to the size, a few times for the lift.

I've done maybe 20 tours in 26,000 miles.

Canada

We just did 3 solid weeks touring Canada, in British Columbia, and Alberta. Lots of interest in the Axis! While parked and waiting for my bride to shop in a Canadian Costco I watched 3 couples stop and take pictures.
