Tankless water-heater and tank heater

Confused by specs on 2022 vegas 24.4 it states that a tankless heater is not installed also on rv master it lists tank heater does this model have thar feature?

Ok did call factory and they said it was not tankless instead a 6 gallon tank i explained i had already began to sanitize the tank she told me not to worry and to flush it out tomorrow and everything will be fine. Still concerned by many things i read. So if that is the case flushing it is the same when winterizing it? On thar note where is the heater bypass valve? Also noticed the anode is already half spent can anyone tell me what that part no is?

Thor had a brief fling with the Girard tankless water heater installed on 2021 Axis/Vegas and similar sized Cs but they went back to the tank type in 2022+ models.

If you remove the furnace return air screen, the water heater is right behind that. If you have already flushed antifreeze through the tank type water heater (and it will take a lot since all 6 gallons needs to be displaced) and didn't use the bypass valves, it won't hurt anything. Drain the water heater by removing the corrosion anode plug and drain the water heater dry. Then next spring flush out all of the residual antifreeze until you get clean water out of the faucets.

Next time use the bypass valves so antifreeze won't go through the water heater and drain it through the drain plug.

Your water heater is probably Suburban or Attwood (there is usually a build list of major suppliers taped inside the hanging cabinet at least on my 24.1). Plug Suburban or Attwood anode drain plug into Amazon and you will find them fairly cheap.

The tank heater you reference could be the 12v heating pads on the waste and water tanks, not to be confused by a water heater. Be thankful you got the "older" style water heater instead of the POS Girard that is/was used. Some loved it, many more hated it.

Thor Super C's still have the Girard and I have seen a couple other people say they have other '22+ models that have the Girard.

According to the brochure for the '22 Vegas it has a 6-Gallon Traditional Hot Water Tank.
