Thor Challenger speakers

We have a 2016 Challenger 37 GT. Bought it in May. Great unit to date. I didn’t get what I feel is a complete manual. Can anyone provide some help on how to use the outside and aux speakers (above the couch)?

Do they connect to the dash radio (Axxera), the speaker bar under the main TV or to the radio in the bedroom?

Thanks. Steve

Generally, the overhead speakers are connected to the dash radio and the outside speakers are attached to the bedroom radio as "B" speakers.

Thanks - on out previous 5th wheel, all the speakers were controlled by the stereo. I will give this a try.

A B switch on the bedroom radio control the outside speakers. Never used them on our 37ND because control is a real PITA

Use Bluetooth for streaming and control from the external device if the BT signal is strong enough.

Maybe, generally. But on my Thor all of them were on the dash radio

Seconded. This is the way they’re connected on our Miramar (granted not a Challenger, but a sibling and most manufacturers don’t deviate too much from their plan, regardless of level of coach): Front cab and over the couch = Dash Axxera radio; Over the bed (A speakers) and outside (B speakers) = Bedroom Jensen radio.

We don’t use either as the sound quality is very sub-par and use a pair of Sony SRS-XB33 bluetooth speakers instead.

We’ll, now that you mention it…..I guess it was the Winnebago I was thinking of. Old brain. And apparently they do it differently. Apologies for my misrepresentation!

The OPs question specifically addresses a Challenger. What was yours?

On the Challenger the rear radio speakers A are the ones over the bed and B are the ones outside.

Speakers on the ceiling are controlled by the dash radio.

Sound at and woofer were controlled by the living area television.

That is how our 2015 37ND operated.
