Angry Thor Miramar water issues

Have any of you experienced water issues? this is our first NEW motorhome and I am very disappointed in the water issue. (leaking into motorhome). we take it in for service. We do the winterizing at the RV place. And we have had several water issues We have a very nice expensive Miramar and I am just so discouraged by the issues we have had. Wondering if people have the same issues. I would certainly never be able to recommend anyone else ever buy one but wonder if others have the same problems. I also bought the "cadillac" extended coverage, for whatever that is worth. Also had the front shade come all the way down WHILE driving. Luckily we didn't kill anybody. But what a frustrating experience. Any comments? thanks

Three things.
First
Sorry about the leaks. If you tell us specifics you'll be surprised how many people here will find a cure for you regardless of which unit they own.
Second
Remember the warranty is cancellable at anytime and remaining refunded money will go First to the lien holder and then to you.
Read it carefully. I doubt leaks are covered.
Bob will come along and tell you. If homeowners or vehicle insurance will cover leak. Damage
Third.
The is no third (letterman reference)

Define "water issues".

Do you have leaks in the roof? Do you inspect the roof especially the lap sealant every 90 days as required by all RV manufacturers?

The blind falling is probably poor workmanship; unfortunately an all too common problem in the RV industry.

To own an RV you have to be prepared to either fix/upgrade things yourself or be prepared to pay someone to do it for you. Sounds like you have paid in advance with an extended coverage plan. Now your battle is to get the plan to pay for your issues as they occur.

If you need assistance with specific issues please feel free to start a thread for each problem, provide as much accurate information as possible, and there will be plenty of Internet assistance coming your way.

Welcome to the forum.

Thank you for the responses. Greatly appreciated. Finding out where it is coming from seems to be the big issue. We had more than our share (or anyone's share honestly) of issues. We have taken it in for this leak several times so I am continuing to talk to Thor about this. I feel it very well could have come from factory like that. All told, the first year of ownership, it was at the dealer's place more than our own place. Sad but true

Hi Brenda.
First of all, Welcome to Thor Forums.
When does the leak occur?
Does it leak when the water supply is turned off and the piping has been depressurized?
Does it leak during or right after a rain?
Any information about the leak that you can provide would be helpful.
