TOAD Battery Disconnect

Have installed remote controlled positive side, latching relay battery disconnect in TOAD. Randomly, power will be interrupted as TOAD sits, unhooked, in garage. Hitting remote places switch in disconnect (with associated loud 'clunk') and hitting remote again reestablishes power connection (again with associated loud 'clunk'). While the 'solution' works every time, why the problem occurs at all is worrisome. Does not appear to drain battery as TOAD starts up easily each time. Does anyone have a suggestion, short of replacing system?

Either weak latches/springs in the latching relay or (if wireless) a wireless receiver issue.

If you decide to replace….when I sold my towed Spark I removed my Roadmaster electric remote battery disconnect. Selling it for $65 including shipping. It always worked perfectly. PM for photos and additional info if interested.

Follow-up

Disconnect unit was bad. Replaced and problem solved. Much quieter and apparently reliable.
