And those folks not with usaa for a lifetime?

I didn't mention my lifetime insurance company name and neither did others mention their lifetime insurance company's name.

Because.....

The op won't be joining as a lifetime member.

Progressive has been good for us

We switched to progressive from GEICO when they try to raise my premium 30% during the COVID.

within a month, someone stole the Catalytic converters from ALL the motorhomes at our storage place.

Progressive took care of the replacement quickly.

Last summer we had a tire blow out and damaged our outdoor kitchen, Progressive rep came quickly to handle claim and got it to the shop the following week. Unfortunately, Thor was extra slow to get us the part we needed for the kitchen, so it took them almost a month to get the parts.

But Progressive rep was great at staying on top of the repairs and promptly responding to the shop when changes on estimates were made.

I'll stick around with them unless they try to pull a 30% increase in premium.

Wondering how USAA is with Motorhome coverage for you all?
I am with USAA and they cover everything I have except boat motorcycle and RV. Those are all covered by Progressive in a partnership with USAA. I think they have pretty good rates, but I can’t guarantee that they’re as good or better than anything you’d find anywhere else. Hope that helps. Joe.

My husband was military and we have always been with GEICO and have never had an issue. When we occasionally did some comparison shopping AARP never came close to the what we already have.

My 5er was hit by a client of USAA in May this year. My rv is still not repaired or claim settled by them. My insurance also hasn't done anything. ( NGIC ) we also have an attorney who they are also ignoring.I've been forced to make other living arrangements to have a roof over our heads. We were full timers. Run quickly from these ripoff artists.

Every insurance company is great when they beat the price of a compentator. You have to consider what insurance means to you. What you will see on this thread are several that are options that are cheaper but what you wont see is how claims are handled. I would love to ditch USAA and/or progressive for my motor home and house as I could find something cheaper, but after hearing horror stories and how I have been handled after 2 hurricanes and a couple auto mishaps I'm hesitant to go any where else. I've hear it from contracted insurance inspecters post event that I'm am lucky I have USAA. I don't sweat it and shop around at the moment but always looking.

Sad that happened to you. Sounds to me that NGIC is responsable for making things right. Thats your insurer.

Wrong. Going through your own insurance when someone else is at fault costs you money. I made that mistaken when a dump truck totaled my Expedition.

Progressive has a specific department for USAA members with motorhomes. https://www.progressive.com/usaa/

USAA member since 1969, My RV's, one windshield and 2 lightning strikes, and 3 house hurricane claims. Quick and fair. Rv now is thru USAA affiliated Progressive.

Cheapest rates are great…..until you have a claim! Usaa (progressive) hands down for claim resolution is the best. Ask adjusters that aren’t associated with them for auto or house. Same answer. Just don’t keep your Ira’s or banking with them. Horrible interest rates.

They Suck! They Really Suck! Did I tell you they suck!

In my career in military, never used them!

Really saw what scum they were when Hurricane Florence hit Lejeune and left so many military hanging! We had 70 rentals not liveable and I HAD TO ASSIST my military renters and home owners fighting the losers! I could write a novel on the scammers!

Best insurance I have found for our RV is nationwide, i have complete replacement policy.
We use Farm Bureau for everthing else. They were 500 more a year and no replacement
