I can't wait to see how well that slide operates; after it starts getting twisted-up in the boonies...
I don't mean to be the "Buzz-Kill" guy; but this is like putting an elephant on roller skates...

Yes, but those roller skates are HUGE. I have never seen such big tires on any MH of any size.

The drive train is certainly stout- 4WD with locking differentials fore and aft. But unless it comes with a 50,000 lb rated bumper winch I wouldn't go anywhere that required that kind of drive. If you got stuck, nothing short of a track driven excavator could pull you out.

And finally, you pay half a million for a new one and you have to make up the bed each time. NFW!

If you google "unimog rv" you can find tons of RVs converted from Mercedes Unimog military transport vehicle. All look similar to the above.

For instance:

Between tire size and all those lug nuts, changing a tire in overland country could prove a daunting task. Certainly wouldn't want to be solo in that situation unless I could radio for some extra muscle.

I believe I can afford that front right tire!
Wonder if you do get a flat and have to call for help.....who could get to you?

Ahhh. Right. If she's too nose heavy, she can't pull out of a dive.

I see that it is built on the M B Unimog chassis. That has a long history of proven off road use both in military applications and civilian. Interesting build.

20 years of military equipment operation, never used a spare on road but always needed multiple spares when traveling off road.

No bed(room), no way to get from coach to front without climbing over a seat/bed, and can’t use huge cab space as part of living area? At that price it can’t be all about 4X4 off-road capabilities in my opinion.

Steel body is a nice touch.

Flip side, looks great and bunk over couch is great idea given limited (real) bed space.
