I purchased a 2020 Thor Delano 24TT from General RV in Orange Park, FL. It came stock with screens on the kitchen windows - and all opening windows on slide out.

When I bought my 2018 Thor Siesta 24SS it did not have a rear ladder to get to the roof even though the sales brochure listed it as standard equipment for my model. I told the finance guy that I wanted the ladder and showed him the brochure. He added it to the list of things to correct which he and I both signed. They ordered the ladder and then I got a call from the service department after them having it for a couple weeks telling me to pick it up except that they could not mount the ladder. When I arrived, the ladder was mounted as promised. Unknown why they called to tell me they could not mount it. The story had a happy ending back in 2018.

That’s General RV for you. Sorry to say but we didn’t have good experiences with either their sales (didn’t buy there) or their service department when we needed emergency repairs while traveling. I don’t know too many people who have dealt with them who have good things to say so I wouldn’t believe that BS. Perhaps they were missing upon arrival or more likely they removed them to replace them in another unit.

Your 1st mistake was going to General RV. They are a very large dealer, but they are also rip off artists.

My Thor 4-Winds came with screen on the kitchen window & would have screamed if not since it MUST be opened when using the stove or oven or that darn smoke alarm goes crazy. My dealer was, simple word, awful. Got permission from Thor to have warranty work done at a different place. Happy camping!

I have a 2020 Delano 24FB.... and it came with no screens on the kitchen windows.

I called the warranty hotline .. short conversation and replacement screen were shipped..

Follow up. After telling us the screens would be sent directly to us. They called and wanted to set up service appointment to install the screens.

REALLY anyone who owns a rv knows how to install screens. Took 3 calls and they said they will mail them to us.

Maybe they thought you needed a light bulb installed, or heaven forbids if they had failed to provide you with the pillows and they needed to be installed.
