How to price a used RV to sell?

We aren't ready to sell just yet, but the idea is starting to creep into my mind.
Just curious to those of you that have sold a motorhome with a few years on it, what determined your asking or let it go price?

It's seeming a little hard for me to quantify, since this thing isn't like a car where you can just look up the bluebook value to get a starting point... So many things just look bad like the exterior finish, so many aftermarket upgrades, so many repairs made, etc... It really is a good RV and solid, but they don't age as well as a car....

I used to think I'd probably just end up trading it on another RV at some point, now I'm not so sure....

Check the NADA listing for your rig. Just like the KBB...

Check the Web and book then price it about 20% lower if you want to get it sold reasonable fast

Condition should be comparable to the ones you look at on the web

Check RVtrader and RVT, too. On the Nadaguides.com site, look for low retail. I've been told that's a ballpark for what the dealer might sell it for. You'll need to price it below that.
Dealer ads are often way overpriced so they can play games with a tradein or give you "the deal of the day!"

I agree with everything that Mr Sunshine said except going under the low retail price. The dealers are going to start at the top and work down to the low retail price depending on how long it sits on their lot. As such I would start right in the middle. Then again, if you want it gone quickly, do as he said.

Good point. There are endless strategies for selling an RV, or anything. You can always lower the price, but starting too high will surely scare away prospects. It's an interesting game for some.
