unacceptable 5th Wheel RV features

I currently have a 2011 Keystone Cougar 5th wheel.

I would LOVE to buy a New 5th wheel RV, but it seems they ALL have a giant, intrusive TV in an entertainment center, which takes up so much wall space.

I also see a fake fireplace in so many RV's, which I do not want.

I KNOW most RV's make certain things optional, like KING BED, Table and chairs instead of a Booth. A higher end FRIDGE. And some other features.

OR, there is a model with AN OUTSIDE KITCHEN, LARGER AWNING, SLIDE TOPPERS, etc.

BUT it seems to me, they are ALL putting the Giant TV and Fireplace.

IS THERE ANY MANUFACTURER that does NOT have those two features in a Fifth Wheel?

Is it that you don't want to pay for them?
Don't use the fireplace and remove that tv if it's not about cost.
Any discount you receive on the RV, consider the first $500 of that discount being:
Didnt pay for TV
Didnt pay for fireplace.

Other than the money, I'm not sure what you're asking for/not asking for.
You asked the same thing a couple of months ago....

You buy a KIT and you make it yours.

IT IS ABOUT HAVING MORE CHOICES.
I just wanted t know if anyone knows of a manufacturer that doesn't automatically put in a Giant TV and Fireplace.

If it doesn't have the features that you,don't like: just keep it.

Have you tried to buy a car without power windows, locks AC, etc? Manufacturers install features that a majority of buyers want or expect. If you don’t happen to be in that majority group it’s just going to be more difficult. Get the closest you can to what you’re looking for and then make it your own. I hope you find a happy place.

Perhaps you can custom-order a new rig, and have them leave some of the amenities you object to off...

5 slides, don't see a fireplace but I do see an outdoor kitchen. How big do you want? 5er's can get absolutely huge! LOL

For the record we used to have a 31ft Cougar 5th wheel bunkhouse: no fireplace, no slide toppers, no huge entertainment center (it was old enough that the entertainment center had a spot for a tube TV ! LOL).

Here's another Forest River 5th wheel.
You'll probably have to find a dealer willing to order one.
Forest River XLR Nitro 28DK5 doesn't have a fireplace and what looks like no tv when not equipped with the Technology Package.

That's a very large bunkhouse model. The fireplace and Entertainment Center are optional, but it does have an outside kitchen.

It is a lot harder to find options from Thor without those than it is from Forest River. I don't think Thor has a lot of small Fifth Wheel options, and it tends to be the smaller ones that don't have those.

Our former Landmark had a TV mount in the living area that would have been easy to remove

The fireplace was optional and we loved it

Use the fireplace in the Tuscany as well, just a really nice pleasant way to use and electric heater, and I might add much safer way than many do

Fireplace was the first item we added way back when we had a Yellowstone many years ago
