Anyone down in the Ozarks?

How's the color around there?

Hoping to enjoy some time in the area from Land Between the Lakes south and west to Hot Springs and points between.

Never been there. What kind of temps - day and night - can we expect?

We had the first snow pellets up here in the great white north this week. Hoping for at least a short reprieve.

We are actually in the Boston Mtns (NW Arkansas). The terrain is beautiful with the fall leaves and al of the colors. Temp running in 70s most days, 2 nights ago it got down to 26 degrees That was abnormal to compared to other nights. We head back to Texas tomorrow.

Rode through on my way to NC. The leaves were changing over. You have a good chance at catching some nice color. If they had a dry summer, they'll be quickly gone.

I live in Central Missouri, so maybe 400 miles north of Central Arkansas. We've had a dry fall so the colors aren't all that great this year, and then it's been pretty windy for the past week so some trees are getting pretty naked. I would say we hit peak color last week, so Central Arkansas should be peaking right about now.

Today, (thurs, oct 22) the high was 84'. beginning tomorrow the temps drop. Monday will be the coldest day of the week with the lows in the lower 30's and a rain/snow mix. I'm heading down to the Current River on Sunday for a little trout fishing, so probably a little too far south for snow.
