If you’re a Harvest Host member there are a few places listed.

Sturgis sits on the northern edge of the Black Hills National Forest. Check with the Northern Hills Ranger District (605-642-4622) on areas where one might find dispersed campsites near Sturgis. There are also many developed National Forest Campgrounds that may fit your needs.

Was just in Sturgis last Saturday. Most places are closed. If you go about an hour east, you will be at the Badlands National Park entrance near Wall, SD. There were tons of people boondocking jusy before the entrance.

Then drive the loop for some amazing scenery. We saw a couple big horn sheep while we were there Saturday.

Several weeks back we stayed at:
Crow Peak Brewing Company, Spearfish
Naughti Wines, Hill City
both are harvest hosts and decent places to overnight.
Can't remember the price for
The Lodge at Deadwood but fairly level and the price included electric.
Also stayed on "The Wall" at the entrance to Badlands. Free and one of the cooler/interesting sites of our trip.
We use Campendium and it led us here to Boulder Beach Campground on Lake Mead. A great spot for $10.
