Staying in town for Thanksgiving. Resting up to add to the mayhem and confusion of Black Fri. sales locally. Not that I buy anything , but it is what some of us geezers do for sport rather than go to a tractor pull or demolition derby. More action more noise.
Safe travels everyone.

Heading to Oak Creek RV Park in Weatherford Texas. Will be at the Cowboy game on Thursday, however, 33 Family members will join us Saturday at the park. We have use of their gathering hall and kitchen. I will be cooking a full Thanksgiving menu far all.

Topsail Hill Preserve State Park, in Florida's Panhandle, near Destin and Pensacola. I've never been there, they tell me it's nice. Short walk or free tram ride to the beach. Our winter camping season begins with a few days of salt therapy!

There is a campground in Destin right on the beach; you may want to drive by and check it out for future trip. We've stayed there before. Depending on time of year it can be a little expensive though. Some of the sites are right on the sand (never stayed on those sites -- sand could also be messy). Although it doesn't have much shade, we like it because we can walk from RV to beach and back.
