Varies with time of year. We have paid $55 to $105 on our trips. You can go to thier reservation site. Florida residents and passholders can sometimes get good discounts. Great place to go with an RV.

Campsites start at $84 a night and do vary during different time of the year. Over Christmas the $84 site goes up to $162.

Put your dates in their reservation system and you'll know exactly what it costs. In fall/winter they book up completely

Rates are comparatively high but the place is gorgeous...the perfect end result of an unlimited budget. For sure a "do not miss" campground in your Florida travels. Take the boat ride to the Disney parks right from the dock in the campground.

I absolutely agree!
As soon as we retire: this'll be our first destination trip!

No comparison to any other place. We stay at premium sites there (highest price level) which are wide level concrete sites. Sites are good size. Absolutely no problem backing in with our 38' Challenger, 45 DP's get in no problem as well...Prices vary from around $100 - $170 per night, based on season with our Annual Passholder Florida resident discount.

So much to do on site, you may not make it over to the parks.. It will spoil you.

We go every year as we are members of the Carolwood railroad society (www.carolwood.com) (Walt’s railroad) and have a great time.
The campground is the Cadillac of campgrounds.
The bathrooms or as they call them comfort stations are clean and fully equipped. The staff are supper friendly and if you have kids well!!
Fort wilderness is a hidden gem of Disney world is a community unto itself, people decorate their sites with all kinds of Disney stuff, go “looping at night” ( tour the camp site) to see all the neat displays.
To do this you could walk but it’s a big place so bikes or a golf cart is the best way, golf carts are available for rent but are expensive $75 per day.
They have 2 pools with hot tubs, movies every night, fireworks that will put anything to shame and even a water parade.
Camp fires are not allowed but there’s so much to do you will not miss it.
It can be expensive but you gotta do it at least once.
It’s worth it

I found this site a few years ago. I don't know if it's still updated, but it used to at least have everything you ever wanted to know about that place

Be sure to remember your car...walking to Florida is hot and dangerous.

Generally pretty accurate, but you no longer have to go through the "toll booths" as you approach the property. There is now a new exit road off to the right about a quarter mile before the booths. Make sure you're in the far right lane as you get near. This road will put you right onto Vista Drive; entrance to the campground will be on your left.

Yep. But you'd be surprised how many people renting the cabins arrive by bus from the airport, get their groceries delivered by Amazon or local delivery services, and rely on Disney's buses to get around during their stay.

We've been staying at Fort Wilderness since the late 70's, and now that we live in the area we stay more often, and have used it for "shakedown" stays for our last three RVs.
