Gps, directions by hwy #

Garmin gps just got confused in Northern Arkansas. Directions by street names useless here everything is hwy #. Does anyone have a gps that uses hwy #?

Two words:

Offline Maps.

The phone's GPS still works without cell service.

I often have that issue in traveling the mountains in West Virginia - where nearly every road is a minor one.

Zoom into the Garmin map in the area you're trying to navigate and take note of the label Garmin is applying to the road(s). You can also drop a pin and see how Garmin references it.
