Question Headed to Gulf shores

This is our first RV and still learning. Would like to know of any inexpensive Rv Sites in Gulf shores. We are on a limited SS income. Thanks for any info.

How do you go about getting a senior pass? We are definitely that.

At one of the national parks or campgrounds, you should ask where locally to get one. We bought one right near a campground at a federal information building.

We love staying at the army Corp of engineers campgrounds. Lots of them are full hookups and $8 with the senior pass.

Do you have the name of the campground? I can't seem to find it and would like to head there tomorrow. We are staying at Bonita Lakes RV Park in Meridan, Miss tonight and would like to gps it. Thank you

If you use an app called "ParkAdvisor" the Army Corp Of Engineer RV parks are all listed.

He gave you the name:

https://www.nps.gov/guis/planyourvisit/campgrounds.htm

But it's not a "senior pass"; it's the "America the Beautiful" pass:

We found it. It's 20 a night with senior pass which you can get here. Wish the weather was better but can't control that. We have extended our stay till next Tues as weather is suppose to clear. We have downloaded Park advisor to our phones. Is there a way to get it to the computer? Screen is bigger and would be easier to plan our next adventure. Thank you so much.

www.recreation.gov handles just about all national parks reservations. Use them all the time. Info available to contact different parks if you want to speak to a human at a particular park.

Gulf State Park is awesome. Nice park and camping. We stayed there during our evacuation from Irma last year. Would definitely go there again.

They treated us great, a local restaurant named Tacky Jack's gave all us evacuees gift cards for a free meal.
Great food and awesome service.

Might wanna first check how things are since the hurricane, but would highly recommend the area.

For the month of November, and usually April, we stay in a park outside of Robertsdale AL. (Azalea Acres RV Park). Don't know what their daily rate is but their monthly rate is $300 plus electric.

We like it because it is a short drive to Mobile plus most of the gulf beaches. Not sure you could get in this time of year without reservations but as of this week there were empty spots.

Luxury RV resort....Hwy 59 in Gulf Shores. Clean, safe, friendly people running place. I stay there when I get the itch to just get away for a weekend or longer.
