How about a easy hike with a big payoff ... Canyonolands Mesa Arch

Here is another hiking video in my series of hikes from the SW USA: Canyonlands National Park Mesa Arch:

So cool! Thanks for sharing these hikes. The Utah parks were in our travel plans last summer. Not happening in 2021, maybe next year. Have to settle for living vicariously.

Thanks for watching, I have a couple more videos ... and one hike that was really cool with very little people.

Cool.

We're going there this summer. Where did you stay?

We stayed at Archview RV resort ... but would do things very differently now. There are so many places you can boondock, If I were doing it again, I would only get a place to "refresh" the tanks every couple of days ... and boondock in the parks or surrounding areas.
The parks are open 24/7 and some people seem to be boondocking in the parking spots scattered within the parks ... so we gave it a try in Arches National Park as that park gets full by 8AM and stops letting people in ... but you can easily get in after 5PM ... and it worked out great!
People are allowed to "star Gaze" in these parks at night ... so I set-up for star gazing and then just crashed there ... work up the next morning and already had the perfect parking spot for my hike.

Interesting.

We'll be staying at Dead Horse Point State Park when we go. Really looking forward to it.
