Day 9 and our last day.
We went to Universal Studios. We were done before we got there. So exhausted from 7 days of disney but we pushed ourselves to do a few rides.
Have to say universal did a great job on building the park. Harry Potter and Jurassic Park were pretty awesome
We called it a day and went to lunch and back to the hotel by 3. We're resting and not sure if we'll do dinner or not
We fly home tomorrow then will need a few days of rest to recuperate ftom the trip

Day 10. Home sweat home
Up early for the bus ride to the airport. 5+ hour flight and we were back in L.A. my buddy was there to pick us up. No traffic for the ride home. Yes we dont always have traffic here. Took my buddy to dinner then back home to unpack. Now we need rest and recuperate from the trip
My thoughts about the trip
Disney does things right. Hotel, buses, restaurants all great
French Quarter hotel. On the smaller side which is a plus. Room was great over looking the river. They have boats to take you to disney springs where you can empty your wallet for food and/or gifts. Marias $2300 gold braclet one day hit my wallet very hard
Buses to the parks were easy here. Two bus stops next to each other. Each stop goes to two of the parks. Pick your park and grab a bus. Easy snd worked well. Some of the bigger hotels have several stops within their grounds. So when the bus gets to you it might already be full
Parks. Magic Kingdom was the best with the best rides. Only down side its crowded. Fast passes helps with that
Plus tgey had tge 5 hour tour which was great
Animal Kingdom was small but had several great rides. Flight of passage and expedition everest were both very good. Fast passes needed for both of there or youll wait a couple hours to get on. Or do what we did for flight. Get there before the park opens and as soon as they let you in go straight to the ride. We were in line and off the ride in 30 minutes
Hollywood Studios. Rock and roller coaster with Areosmith was great. Didnt do tower of terror it was closed but we have done it dozon of times here at disneyland. The indiana stunt show was pretty good and worth seeing. Lots of small shows to fill your day
Epcot. Nothing special here and now that we've seen it will not go back
It was a great trip but im glad we're home.
Captain Marvel tomorrow. Cant wait. I love anything Marvel
So if you read this far hopefully you werent bored. Like i said earlier these posts were not very detailed because i was exhausted. I promise our D.C. motorhome trip will be better

We’re doing great! Weather here has been terrible, lots of rain and cold weather. Our youngest daughter is transferring from Germany back to Florida in July, Myra is meeting her in Pensacola in about a week to go help her pick out a house. I told Myra she needs to look for one for us too, this southern boy needs warmer weather!!! Have fun!

Day 1 in the books
Early post today. Hit the road at 445am to avoid the traffic. We were going east bound. Amazing that the west bound traffic was bumper to bumper in the Riverside Ontario area
We pulled into our first stop, Motor Coach Resort in Chandler Az. At 1245. We made good time with one gas stop and a lunch stop at a rest stop about 50 miles outside Phoenix
Small and nice cg. No pull through sites Kind of a weird set up. All rigs must drive forward into the sites. Not back in. All mh faces the center court area. It actually nice.
We'll head out early tomorrow for Las Cruces NM
Time to relax and rest up for tomorrows drive
To be continued

yeah I need the rest. My back has been killing me the past week or two. OK to drive but after that in pain. Plus a major headache after setting up camp. Couple Excedrin and a nap fixed me right up thankfully.
My buddy didn't leave his house until 2. I expect them here around 10-11. We decided on a 6am departure tomorrow morning. Another 8 hour or so drive

Day 3 Las Cruces to Midland Tx
Midland rv: big cg but tons of permanent residents. I think they're seasonal worker. Its quite and nice. Camp hosts are super friendly and nice. I'll start taking a few pics of our sites for those who are reading this a care and for those reading this and don't care
Another 7 hour drive us we lost another hour. That's 2 hours due to time zone
Gas prices are getting better. Sams club $2.41 gal. We then bought a few things at Sam's and Walmart
Got to Midland rv set up camp quick then jump in my buddies Fleetwood. We went for a tour of the house where President George W Bush was born. George H and Barbara bought the house in 1939. W and a couple sibling were born there but they were only there for a few years. H and famy moved a lot as H was building his oil business
Pretty interesting history about two great American presidents
We then drove to the Texas Roadhouse Restaurant for a great porterhouse dinner. I'm stuffed
Tomorrow we might change plans and drive to Waco Tx. Maria and Stephanie, wife of our travel partners, want to see some reality star shop or something. I don't know who they are but I know it will add a couple hours to our drive.
Jerry
