Been a while since I've been to Canton, though grew up a bit East from there on Lake Palestine. Enjoy, first Monday is always interesting!

It's a very nice cg. Has the fishing lake, fire rings, and cement pads
We got to Amarillo late. So I called dino to cancel and save him a 2 hour drive
We did meet up with a couple renegade owner that we met in AZ at the rally. They picked us up for dinner. When we got back the wind was crazy. I kept the livingroom slide in all night. It blew pretty hard during our drive to canton but the renegade handled it great. I'm not bashing my thor but this wind would have kicked my butt
Off to Shreveport tomorrow a 2 -3 hour drive
Doing my first ever load of laundry using our washer dryer. So nice. I only brought clothes for 8 days. Nice not using a cg laundry

Wait, it looks like you are in the cockpit of an aeroplane, not the seats of an RV.

We hit savannah, Charleston, myrtle beach, and now in Charlotte. The humidity is kicking my butt. Lots of walking, shopping, and eating. Plantations, forts and eating. To hide from the heat we took a break and saw Top Gun.
Went to President Polk's house then had a steak dinner at Dean's
Tomorrow we plan to hit the farmers market and some store Maria wants to look at. Lots of places we wanted to see are closed sunday
Next stop Kentucky and the Ark then Nashville. Time to start taking pics

If you have time while around the Ark in Kentucky, stop by Big Bone Lick State Park, They have a free museum and free roaming buffalos on the property after taking a short hike through the woods. Just south inside Tenn. try stopping at Loretta Lynn's ranch/r v campground. You can tour her home and walk through a replica of a coal mine.

Now in Memphis. We'll see the king tomorrow. Our friends want to see bass pro shop so we'll go later this afternoon
We stopped to say hi to Colonel Sanders
Ark was great
Crystal onyx cave great
Franklin's Carter House and Canton plantation was great
Grand ole opry great
100* temps and humidity sucks big time.
We'll be in Texas soon. I think it will be a dry heat year (sarcasm )
Fun Trips far except for the heat. Lots more to do and see in the next 3 weeks

Memphis is a great city that has some blemishes. My daughter lived there for 10 years and I was stationed 20 miles north while in the Navy. If you’re down at Bass Pro then walk the bridge at Mud Island. Rendezvous is a great rib place of if you like pulled pork then Tops is good- lots of them and they are dumps. Meat-n-3 is Miss Peggy’s in Midtown. And if you are adventurous then try Uncle Gus’s chicken. Sun Studio and Lorraine Hotel National Civil Right Museum are worth seeing as well a Beale Street.

Hi Jerry
Glad the front air started working again. Have a safe time in Texas and try to stay cool. We head out on Sunday for Williams Arizona for 4 nights then to Benson Arizona for 2 nights. In late July we head out to Utah for 5 nights.
I pick up my coach on Friday from some warranty work and I had them install the Safe T Plus steering stabilizer while it was there.
Paul

Just realized i never updated the thread. Ac worked the rest of the trip. But Texas was HOT. Really hard to sightsee. We saw the jfk museum, alamo, several missions, and the Texas ranger museum which I really enjoyed. Guess the cop in me could related to it.
Did several days in amarillo with Dino and his family. Great seeing them again.
Got home and took the mh to the dealer. Coleman agreed to replace the ac. Took a couple weeks to get to the dealer. It's in and working great
We leave Saturday for yellowstone, Teton, Bryce and zion. Looks like the weather is cooling down so that will be a nice change.
Just finished putting my fly fishing gear together and trout trolling rigs. Hopefully I'll be cooking some trout for dinner
Jerry
