The rules for going to Canada with guns are VERY strict!!! Virtually no handguns. You can go to the Canadian tourist website to get the latest info.

Shotguns, some rifles are ok but you need lots of paperwork

All the forms are online

Kern River at Rivernook Campground

Maria and I go the kern every year. This year Dave, Sundance, and his wife went with us. We caravan down there with no issues.

We had nice and sometimes cold weather. The river is the highest and fastest ive ever seen. This killed the fishing but gave us the opportunity to river raft.

Dave had some friends that were staying in the cg south of us. Very nice people. We all hung out, went walking around the small town, and ate lots of food.

On Tuesday we went river rafting. We did two runs down the rivers. Very fun. This was the first time Maria and I have done this.

For some reason i didnt take very many pics. But heres a few.

Wow, looks and sounds like you had a great time! To bad about the fishing but oh well! One of the first dates I took my wife on was river rafting at the Royal Gorge in Colorado, great fun! Thanks for sharing the pictures, glad you had fun!!!

I looked but didnt find him. If Haffa is in the area i would say hes at the bottom of Lake Mead.

Myra and I would also like to join. We could meet Dino and caravan together! As far a most people are concerned you can't get much lower if you're hanging out with a Marine, Myra hangs out with me, guess you could too!!!

We'd be interested, depending on the month. I've been retired since 03/2016 but am going back to work soon. Good gig, private contract with U.S. Marshals.
I'm still a young 51 and double dipping for a bit is going to help support this wonderful RV lifestyle.

Sounds like fun, you must have made this trip before, ENJOY!!!

After you get back I'd like your advice on installing the track bar. The bar looks like it would be fairly easy to install, I already read over the instructions, but I'm sure you probably have some good advice on how not to do it!

I believe the balloon festival is always in October get more details once we know it good for you for double-dipping and 57 I don't want to double dip especially not in that field anymore if I go back to work it'll be for a taco shop so I can talk about fishing all the time

Sounds good, we've been wanting to go to this. Hopefully can work it out. My limit will be 57, I gave Home Depot a thought but decided on this, pay is much more. Much less headache than a LEO. I assume you were a LEO?

Not much farther! Guess I thought you had been there before when you said Maria was sitting this one out. I've flown in and out of Juneau a couple of times but I'm sure it's changed since I was there.

Still wishing you to have a Great time!!!
