Day Parking Ormond Beach/Flagler FL

Kids and grandkids descending on us in June for a week and we want to give them some beach time. We are in Ocala FL so our nearest spot on the Atlantic coast would be Ormond Beach/Flagler. Looking for somewhere we can park just for the day, so ideally a large parking lot within walking distance to the beach where we would not upset other users by taking up a few spaces. We have a class C 32ft Four Winds. BTW did look at some of the RV sites and paying for an overnighter but most are fully booked! Any suggestions?

For day use only, you can drive your motorhome.on Daytona Beach. The driving lanes are packed pretty hard. Limit is 32' and cost is $20 per day. There are also tons of public parking as you mentioned. Warning...that sand will never come out of the coach...put a foot wash bucket of water next to the door and rinse your.coach good.when you leave.

I would suggest you join the "Florida RV Camping" facebook page and ask there. Lots of members, many with good suggestions. You may have to wade through a bit of off topic replies or replies that don't actually answer you exact question, but someone will usually come through with the answer you are looking for. https://www.facebook.com/groups/Flor...action_generic

Personally we prefer the Gulf coast. While we don't day trip, and I know this is a longer drive than Ormond Beach, I know there's a ton of day parking on Anna Maria Island that is right on Coquina Beach. https://www.google.com/search?tbm=lc...69236620805901

You could try Gamble Rogers State Park. Almost impossible to get a site for camping but they do have a day-use parking area (unmarked - big dirt/sand lot) that costs $5 per vehicle. It's right across the dunes to the beach.
