Looking for New Vacation Campground

Well, I got my reservation for Fort Pickens (Pensacola Florida) Campground back in February, they are hard to get. We planned a 2 week vacation 200 yards from beautiful white sand. (I love this campground.)

My wife just told me to pick somewhere else because my doctor told me to stay out of the sun (party pooper).

We live in Phenix City Alabama and want to go about 200-300 miles away. We will be pulling a toad.

I am looking for the following:
1. Pond fishing
2. Full hookup - level site
3. Satellite Reception
4. Hiking trails

DW looking for:
1. Good WiFi (Wife works on vacation)
2. Sites to see - shopping, history
3. Water park - maybe

If you know of a place that meets these requirements (or close) please let me know.

Looking for New Vacation Campground

Have you considered Topsail Hill Preserve State Park at Santa Rosa Beach, FL near Destin? It meets nearly all of the criteria you mention. Wi-Fi a little weak in some of the sites but good at other areas. We've stayed there a few times and love it.

Emerald coast RV resort. Panama beach. Very nice site next to a really neat zoo. Close to everything. Excellent class A parking around a small lake.

Have you considered Gatlinburg/Pidgeon Forge area in Tennessee? It should be in your distance range. Florida is hot, hot, hot until late fall. Plenty of what you want there, and Dollywood, too.

I made this page a while ago for different reasons, but it will work here.

Put in an address or a city, state or some other point google knows about and a mile figure (200, 300, etc.), press "Calc Circle" and give it a few sec. It will draw two circles: A red one which is an absolute miles from your address, and then a green shaded area that that uses directions (it divides the circle up into N parts then ask google for directions so the outer bounds of the green area is actual driving miles).

Here is an example of about 50 miles from Chicago:

No pond, but this is a nice quiet beautiful farm 30 minutes from Dollywood. Don't Tell anyone about it!

RV Park Reviews - Trusted Reviews of Campgrounds & RV Parks might help your search. You can sort by features, and it shows ratings and reviews. There are some good phone apps, too.

Dollywood is great, rides and much more. And don't miss Cade's Cove in Great Smoky Mtns National Park. Two weeks there should be a great vacation!

This is JUST what I wanted. How can I save them as I make and how do I mark this so I can find it again? I see it's a dropbox file?

Cades Cove

Agree with Cades Cove. Do the loop drive.....better than good and allow enough time to stop along the loop at numerous pull-offs. Can get very crowded but well worth it. Peace!

It is a simple static html file so you can right click on it and hit "save link as" and store it locally. You then can just open it locally with a browser (on my Windows laptop I can just drag it onto an empty Chrome tab and it works fine).

Otherwise you can bookmark that link as I've had that up for a few years now and don't plan on removing it (have a few blog posts that link to it).

As far as saving them: I don't really have a way for that (one way is to simply grab a screen capture, or use Chrome's print to pdf file feature but then you lose the ability to pan & zoom).

I'll agree that Cade's Cove should be on the list of places to see. I was there a couple of years ago and really enjoyed the drive even though it was crowded.
