Oklahoma Turnpike to Missouri

All,

Been doing some planning for my upcoming trip from Texas to Branson, Missouri via the I44 Turnpike outside of Ok City. Will be in a DP and I am good with tolls, but wanted to see what others were doing when making this trip as to what toll booth do you pass thru to pay and am hearing that I 65 South from Springfield to Branson is closed. Any help will be most appreciated.

Tolls are cash only if you don't have a pike pass. NTTA pike passes are honored I believe. I know I can use mine on theirs. Check the turnpike websites for verification.

Oklahoma: https://www.pikepass.com/

Texas NTTA: https://www.ntta.org/Pages/default.aspx

You might need to send them any questions by email.

After you pass the Red River, H.E Bailey turnpike first toll is about mile marker 20. Pike Pass on the left, exact change in the middle and attendant on the right. Pike Pass lane is about 30 mph. About 7 or 8 free exits from about marker 30 thru 46.

Next toll is about 78 but they are rebuilding it about mile 64. Same setup at the one on 78 but if they're finished with the new one it should be different. I think the attendants will swing off to the right and the pike pass will go straight through. Don't take that as gospel though. I haven't been there in a while so I don't know how they've progressed. Two free exits at Chickasha.

20 and 78 close the attendants late night. (about midnight I think) So bring plenty of quarters if you don't want to fight the change machine.

The next toll is about mile 97. Pike pass swings out to the right and allows up to 70 mph. Construction just before you get to Oklahoma City.
Several free exits in Oklahoma City.

After you get on the Turner turnpike, the toll is about exit 182. Attendants on the right, pike pass goes straight through. Several free exits in Tulsa.

The toll on the Will Rogers turnpike is about marker 285 with the same setup as 182. The turnpike ends about the Missouri border.

Just before Springfield, assuming there is no serious construction, take the bypass at exit 69 to hwy 65.
