RV Trip Wizard for planning.

The subscription price is worth it.

I export the trip from RVTW and import it into Google Maps on my laptop, then bring it up in the Google Maps app on my iPhone. I keep Google Maps app running during a trip to see ahead for heavy traffic/accidents.

Trip Planning with RV Trip Wizard

Just another vote for RV Trip Wizard - Been using it for about a year and found it very useful - you have to take some time to let it know your preference but as stated, it is VERY intuitive.

Planned routes are easy to move to a Rand McNally GPS - takes a little more work for Garmin but still worthwhile.

Good Luck and Happy Travels

We also use RV Trip Wizard and we have a Garmin RV 770. The Garmin we have is the LMT-S. We get “free” lifetime updates of the software/maps. You can get live traffic with a special charging cord that can be ordered on Amazon. It is possible to import your RV Trip Wizard route into the Garmin, but it’s not easy. I normally use Trip Wizard to plan and then manually input our planned trip into the Garmin. We love both of these items.
